And here it is. Okay we all no everyone loves monkeys right? So to win some monkey prizes you have to make a poem, or quote, or short story. You will have to pick one to do and you can enter each catagory once. I will pick one winner that is the BEST out of each catagory! Here is a example of what you would put down if you did a short story…

ok…i am just saying…it takes me awhile to make the poems…like a couple of days. this is because i spend A LOT of time in my work. I really work hard on these poems, i put my heart and soul into them! But i will definitely try my hardest to make it by the deadline! It is June 17th right? Well today is the 7th, hmmmmmm i hope that’s enough time! I think it will be! I might just make it (luckily!) 10 days….oh i’ll make it work!
The poem’s about webkinz and this blog right? I think it is….I will start working ASAP! Hmmmm…..how many verses? Because i usually have a lot! Well thanks for your help!

Not in a Cage

Everyone loves chimps, right? Well, did you know that some scientists use them in biomedical research and testing? The scientists use these intelligent creatures for testing because they experience a range of emotions, including depression, joy, pain, distress and empathy as well as complex mental abilities just as humans do which makes them very much like humans.
The chimpanzees do not have enough room to play in small 4 foot by 4 foot cages. Some chimps cannot take living in a cage so, the chimp kills himself.
In fact, the United States is one of the only remaining countries in the world that continues to use chimpanzees in harmful research. Although the number of chimpanzees in government-supported research has been declining owing to high financial and ethical costs, as well as scientific concerns, approximately 1,200 chimpanzees still remain in U.S. laboratories today. We would all like to see an end put to this altogether.
So, don’t just sit around and feel sorry for those poor creatures. Send this letter to the government:

Yes, that was a report I did for school, so, what do you think? I mean, since my entry was a rough draft of a report I wrote for school, It wasn’t exactly a SHORT story but, it was from my heart.
